While I admit I can be old fashioned, I have to agree with my girl. Not so much in the way of electronics as much in the way of technology.
Something handheld is all the rage for these modern children (I think I mentioned this recently). If it isn't a cell phone (don't you know all children have one except mine), it's likely an Ipod, or Tamagotchi thing, or something that all but makes the bed for you.
No, I'm not all about the gadgets, and I don't especially like all that this progression means for my children. But I am grateful that for now, technology makes the distance seem smaller in ways.
