"But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him
and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put
it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile." Exodus 2:3
Can you imagine the amount of faith Moses' mother, Jochebed must have had in order to put her baby in a crocodile laden river, trusting the basket wouldn't tip, trusting that something good would come of her letting go?
This is the kind of faith I want to have...... a faith that trusts implicitly in His leading and never doubts, despite complete uncertainty.

Sometimes that papyrus basket comes in the form of a jet plane. I just put my 18 yr. old Robert on a plane to Brazil a week ago where he will spend the next 3 months helping my brother's missionary. He makes a trek to the Amazon Jungle next week. Oh yes, it is so hard to let go. God knows that all too well. It's time for me to let go & fully trust in Him. Love you Tracy, Cindy
