I recently heard the adage... "God doesn't give you more than you can handle."
Hmmm. Consider this, that in fact much of what happens in our lives
is indeed MORE than we can handle.
Think of it: financial worries; dealing with teenagers; infidelity; divorce; loss; heartache; cancer; disease; death; tragedy; destruction (just to name a few). I don't know about you, but the pain and stress of life is at times truly too much for me!
Voila! By design, it's there and then, in such moments that we are likely to cry out to the Lord. Because He is God, He maintains control of all things. He orders the events of our lives. Sometimes it's hard just so we'll need Him.
He will not give us more than He can handle. That's why we needed a Savior. How amazing to be loved so!
